-What does a typical day look like in Rooted and Rising Preschool?

Upon arrival, children will transition through a warm-up. Typically a "soft-landing" approach with independent sensory bins, gentle gross motor movement, Play-Doh, puzzles, open play, and so on.

From there, we engage in outdoor visualization.

-What training do the facilitators have?

We are CPR/First Aid certified, aligned with Colorado requirements of ECE.

-What should my child wear to an outdoor school?

We believe there is no such thing as bad weather, simply bad clothing! We will have extra coats, gloves, boots, etc. available for children. Please be sure to check the weather (I will send reminders) and send your child with seasonal clothing. Another option is to keep clothing or gear for your child here at our school.
